This is as slow as Up/Down arrow key and can be annoying if you want to go left/right quickly. I suggest Ctrl+PageUp and Ctrl+PageDown, which currently appear to be unassigned. They're bound to next/previous tab! I don't think this is needed frequently enough on the web today to require chewing up extra keybindings for faster horizontal scrolling. Even on my 12" powerbook I rarely need to scroll horizontally, and certainly not far enough to justify learning a non-standard keybinding to speed it up. The move towards larger and widescreen displays makes this even less interesting.
