Ocasionally Places crashes. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.I go about organizing my bookmarks in Places. Have many. 2.Make a new folder in Places 3.It doesn't appear in the tree on the left, but if I navigate on the right then I see that it is in fact there. 4.If I exit Places and then go back, all is good. 5.Though Places does crash ocasionally for no discernible reason (happened twice) Actual Results: New Folder sometimes only appears once I've exited Places, and then gone back. This is strictly a problem with the tree on the left of Places. Expected Results: New Folder should just appear once I create it on the tree to the left in Places.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
