(M14 on Win98) When deleting messages (downloaded via POP3), the last message deleted continues to be displayed in the lower pane even after it is gone from the message list. The barberpole progress indicator and pulsing Mozilla logo continue moving as well. This can only be corrected by selecting another folder outside of Inbox. This occurs both in threaded and unthreaded display mode. It occurs when deleting one message at a time, or when selecting multiple messages for deletion.

Scott, I think this is your area? Seems like necessary polish for beta2, marking M16.

I believe this is working now. We do have an open bug where deleting the last (and only) msg in a folder doesn't clear the msg contents from the message pane.
I agree. marking WORKSFORME.
