Details

Trivial UI glitch, tested in the latest trunk nightly. When the tab bar is first generated, any open menus that overlap it are distorted by a duplication in the interval where it appears. The easiest method to reproduce is to open a browser window with no tab bar, then right click on a bookmark and select "Open in a New Tab". However it happens so quickly that it's not very obvious. It's more apparent (i.e. lingers for longer) if you create a subfolder on your Bookmarks Toolbar, with a number of items. Then, with a fresh no-tabs window, click on the subfolder in the toolbar and select "Open in Tabs". The menu duplication/distortion may last for several seconds, depending on how speedy your browser is. This is obviously a minor bug, but I thought it was worth reporting. The creation of the tab bar shouldn't affect menus that are open.
Very old bug report, I tried to follow the steps given but could not reproduce, so marking it as WORKSFORME.
