This is the original problem in bug 33106. When you open customize sidebar, the JA panels are not same as spec. Specification is http://terra.mcom.com/people/relliott/netcenter/projects/client/sidebar/all-panels/all-panels-ja-03102000-1.3.html The screenshot for the bug 33106 was not good. In the customize panel, Under International, Canada and Italia is missing. Sweeden is in English. Spec does not include Favorites folder for Japanese Base files. Is this correct? If so, we need to translate word "Favorites". Tested 20000323 Win32 JA build.
Reassigning bug to Marta Smith.

making it jab1; thats, martas, if you need this in the build, the deadline is today at 4pm. Thanks.
* JA Panel not same as spec: This is because the spec keeps changing. And it will keep changing till mid-way between beta 1 and beta 2. So I would not call this a bug. * Canada and Italian missing Canada has been added yesterday. There is no plans to have Italian in there because there has been problems working with the third party. So I'd consider this fixed. * Sweden is in English: Fixed yesterday. * Spec does not include Favorites folder for Japanese Base files: The spec is not fully baked. I think having a Favorites folder is correct. It will be localized soon. I am asking Marta to mark this bug as 'Finished'. As for getting things into the build by 4:00 pm. I don't think there is anything that needs to get into a build. So it is not an issue.
I couldn't of said it better myself, thaths. ;) I'm closing this bug.

Now, the country names are localized and correct, but Favorite folder needs to be localized. I put the screen shot. Under international/United state/Favorite folder, Chikyuno arukikata, Bargain America,... in Japanese is there. When I click on every country folder, this happens, too.

Now all-apels.rdf (which will be viewed from a japanese browser) has favorites in japanese language and encoding and in base-panels.rdf (which is poining from other countries international folders) have "Okiniiri" which means favorites in japanese in western encoding.
