The shortcut to open a new tab (Ctrl+T) is not working

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start Mozila Firefox
2.Press Ctrl+T

Actual Results:  
Nothing happens

Expected Results:  
New, empty Tab should open
Please test this in firefox's safe mode: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode


works fine for me

It works fine for previous versions but it does not work in version 1.5.0.1
I take it it also does not work in Safe Mode then?
