Can you please try this in safe mode, to make sure this is not an extenstion problem. (You can load Firefox in safe mode by going to Start->All Programs->Mozilla Firefox->Mozilla Firefox(Safe Mode))
Have you tried deleting downloads.rdf in your profile? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Folder
- Safemode does note seem to make any difference.
Deleting this file did seem to help! Will the "clean up" button do the same as deleting it ?
Reporter, do you still see this problem with Firefox 2.0? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!
Version: unspecified → 1.5.0.x Branch
Jim, you likely had a problem with a corrupt downloads.rdf file and shouldn't need to remove it any longer. If you can still reproduce this right after removing that file, please comment in this bug with full details.
