Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Sometimes, when I load a new extension, the old one stays (just the XPI file) in the extension managers window, and when I select it to remove it, Uninstall/Disable are grayed out. For example, I have: Adblock Plus 0.6.1.2 then under it: adblock_plus_0.5.11.2_en-US.xpi I can't uninstall this (I don't even think its active) or view it. How can I get rid of these? Thanks! Reproducible: Sometimes
Probably caused by bug 319022 and this is a duplicate of bug 332116 which will allow uninstalling extensions that don't complete the download phase of an install. The easiest way to remove them is to remove or rename the extensions.rdf file in your profile directory. It will be regenerated on startup. http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 332116 ***
