"Next page" on last search page confusing and gives duff error

If you go to the last page of search results, there are two issues (basically them same cause): - the "Next Page" link is there and actually a link, even though there's nothing to go to. - clicking it gives a page that says "There are currently no results. Please use the options at the left to begin a search or try adjusting your search terms." which is so totally wrong it's not funny. Obviously, fixing the first bit stops the second being an issue.
These should be resolved in production. Please verify.
