333014 - DHTML drop down menus flicker and disappear when placed over Flash

When mousing over the DHTML menus as they drop over the flash movie, all of the menu disappears except for the portion under the curser.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open browser
2.Mouse over menu
3.Witness them diisappear

Actual Results:  
the problem occurred

Can we get a testcase please?  Does this also happen in Firefox?

It does not happen in Firefox. You can see it happen if you go to http://www.sigaba.com/ and mouse over the lowest tab on the products menu. This portion disapears because it is slightly covering a flash movie.

Is this a dupe of our "plugin content paints over background" bug? I'm thinking it sounds a lot like the bug where Quicktime movies bleed through from background tabs.

I don't see any Flash content on that page, nor any disappearing menus, consequently.

I'm still tempted to dupe this to bug 334096 or vice-versa (probably the former).  Eddy, does the page in bug 334096 illustrate the same problem you reported here?

Yes, this is essentially the same bug as in http://www.bmwusa.com/ disappearing or vanishing drop down menus over flash.
