User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060313 Debian/1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.1-4 Firefox/1.5.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060313 Debian/1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.1-4 Firefox/1.5.0.1

To maximise useful window area I wanted to remove the bookmarks toolbar. I knew this was possible because I've done it before, but it took me a long time to find out how to do it. This bug is to suggest improving the context menus to make this easier.

It seems that the context menu on parts of the navigation toolbar includes options to enable/disable both the navigation toolbar and the bookmarks toolbar. Right-clicking on the navigation toolbar is not the intuitive thing to do when you want to remove the bookmarks toolbar. Right clicking on the bookmarks toolbar itself shows a menu that is entirely related to bookmarks and doesn't have a "remove" option.

I'd like to suggest that the option to enable/disable the bookmarks toolbar is either moved from the navigation toolbar to the bookmarks toolbar, or is shown on both context menus. (There is an obvious issue about how to get a toolbar back once you have removed it...)

Cheers, Phil.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1
It's also in the View menu (View > Toolbars) and if there are no bookmarks anymore on the bookmarks toolbar, you get the toolbars customization menu.
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060409 Firefox/3.0a1 - Build ID: 0000000000
Confirmed. I've always found this a pain, especially as I have my navigation elements condensed onto the menu bar, taking up all the space.

This isn't something I think we'll add, that menu is already overlarge, and the primary and obvious place for these items is under View.
