Confirmed by me on a FC5 Linux laptop using Thunderbird 1.5.0.5.
The description should better read:
"Message Filters must be added one at a time otherwise changes are discarded"
I hadn't notice problems with versions before the current one

Hello
I have to add, Linux version 1.5.0.5 (20060808) loses all settings between sessions, returning the filter target to the uppermost account it has.
I am not sure if this is a problem of the installation (FC5) version, but I can install a parallel, please advise. Although I have done that before and the bug persists. Have to try it on the Windows side.
Cheers

On Windows XP, version 1.5.0.5 (20060719)
Filters contents are apparently preserved between sessions, but no filters are run, either automatically or when we click on "Run filters on folder" on the main menu. If we go to "Message Filters" and try to "Run Now", the filter will run.
Remember that I am always doing my tests on an account which is not the first one on the accounts pane. Impact of doing this on the described situation has not been assessed.
