I was told (by blank--should I name names?) the latest nightly build supported the ability to resize the width of the toolbar's google field, much in the same way you can resize the google field in Safari. For example, in Safari, my location field takes up about half the toolbar while the google field takes up the other half. Why? I search with long strings (a humanities researcher) and it's useful to be able to see the entire search string for editing, to replace words, to add quotation marks around phrases if needed, etc. Right now, the google field in Camino seems suited to only one medium-length word or two short words at the most.
If such a resize feature does exist, perhaps it's a hidden preference I've missed.
I apologize if this bug has been reported--and I apologize two times over if this isn't even a bug. I'm a n00b as the kiddies say.

It's in the latest nightly, but it has *not* landed on the branch you're using. :)
You want one of the builds out of the "experimental" directory (Universal 1.8-branch nightlies) or a trunk nightly. The "latest-1.0" nightlies don't have it yet.
Marking INVALID, since this isn't really a bug.

Oh sweet resize bliss! I have the correct nightly now and it resizes as smoothly and responsively, if not more so, than Safari.

Plus, thanks for the quick attention this received. Even the invalid bugs get prompt action.
