going though talkback data related to crashes with *.dll at the top of the stack I'm running across some unknown and possibly troubling places where we end up crashing. We could use some talkback reporting tools that sort out all the external .dll's where we crash then do two things --route crash reports to plugin vendors that could use the data to help make their plugin experience better, or we can send upgrade notices, ect... --identify possible evil .dll's that we find and figure out protection mechanisms.... might need a supporting database that keeps track of the .dlls we see in the talkback data, and identifies the source of the .dll (e.g. windows, plugins) maybe we should use this bug as the tool development bug, then file others as we get some good data to analyze.
superseded by crash-stats. and ____ ?
yeah, won't fix on talkback, and other bugs on file for .dll dictionary and some of these other requests for analysis tools.
