Hey all. Since the last nightly-trunks often crash on compression of folders, I recognized that there will be often leaved an folder called "nstmp". That this folder shouldn't exist normally is the one thing, the name the other. I guess that "nstmp" stands for "Netscape-temp"? I'm right? I think we should rename them to a name which the user can associate something with. I suggest "compression-temp-folder" - or short "compress.tmp". What does the others think ??? Greets slim.
http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/mailnews/base/src/nsMsgFolderCompactor.cpp#293 Note that there's a whole library that is called NSPR (Netscape Portable Runtime library). Should we change that too ? I don't think it matters.
Gary, can you decide this?

I think that's a perfectly fine idea - maybe compact-temp...
Confirming based on comment #3.

Ever confirmed: true
Jo: the difference between NSPR and this is that this is a user visible thing that people might have to make a decision based on in the course of normal usage.
