Steps to reproduce: 1. Use your own bookmarks for it 2. In the places window click Bookmarks Menu or Bookmarks Toolbar 3. In the right hand panel expand folders 4. When you expand a folder on the bottom, it doesn't scroll into sight Expected behaviour: you should see the contents of the last opened folder without scrolling

Good idea, but also a bug in 1.x. We will try and look at this if we get time.

This bug sounds like bug 120771. There's an old patch in that bug. I have no idea about if it's any good.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
