Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1
The sample page shows an example of using CSS for a 3 column layout. The page has a gradient background. There are boxes, one in each column, that have a white area with rounded corners overlaying the background. These areas contain the page text.
Firefox displays the example page ok in the browser, but when printed, the rounded corners disappear. In addition, the background prints over a portion of the white area. The text appears to display correctly.
I am printing to a network attached HP Laserjet 4600 PS printer.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Navigate to the page
2. Print the page
3.
Actual Results:
Output is garbled.
Expected Results:
The printed output should match the browser's rendition.

The PDF attachement was created using the PrimoPDF print driver on Windows 2000.

The printing has been improved significantly, but is still not quite right. I can see the rounded corners (I'm guessing it's the image outline), but the white space extends to the entire enclosing frame on the printer while it doesn't in the browser. I'm attaching a new PDF that shows the current output. I get the same effect if I print to a printer or to a PDF. I didn't see where I posted the URL for the page in the original submission, but it's
http://www.alistapart.com/d/customcorners2/step2.4.html.
I running the following version of Firefox.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4
