Drag a link from a web page onto the bookmarks menu and drop it.
The link gets added, but the bookmarks menu stays focused and highlighted.
The link should stay focused, like in Firefox 1.5.
This seems to have regressed after the patch in bug 329733

i see the "bookmarks" menu item highlighted if i drop over it (the bookmark is appended). while if i drop between the menu the dropped item is selected (but the menu is dismissed).

i think the reporter is saying that the initially-dragged item should retain focus after it's been dropped, for example in this case that'd be the link on the web page. is this consistent with how d'n'd works elsewhere?

So, the menu remains open after drag.  If you use esc to close it, focus goes right to the link initially dragged. The expected behavior of meus has changed since 1.5. The menu remaining open is now consistent and expected behavior across d-n-d within or into the BM menu.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body   contains   places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
