When in preferences => internet search => search using: ...

Selecting any other choice except netscape search causes it to just display a
blank grey area. Search choice is still recorded and properly accessed though.

cosmetic flaw
yep, this occurs on all platforms, too.

no longer a problem on mac or linux [2000.05.09.08, comm]. however, still an
issue on winNT --prolly due to the popuplist issue on windows...?
I no longer see this on win2k or win98 2000050908, vrfy wfm?
am guessing that the winNT problem am seeing here *might* be due to bug 37759.
what d'you think, jrgm?
Depends on: 37759
Yes, this menulist problem is due to bug #37759. (By the way, the file
'chrome/menulistBindings.xml' is missing from the comm. win32 builds
-- I'll note that on bug #37759). You can just grab a copy of this file
from the mozilla build, drop it in the chrome directory, and you should
be able to verify this bug.

[Heh -- in light of recent news reports ... "Never attribute to malice what

What the hell is going on? This is the third time today I could have sworn I
marked something wfm and it showed up as FIXED. I think I meant to mark this
wfm, why would I have marked it FIXED?

methinks this is directed towards me :-(
No, not at all. But I'll do this by email :-]
works now (verif using 2000.05.18.08, opt commercial bits, linux, winnt, mac).

one thing i noticed is that when i first go to Internet Search prefs, the
default selected item in the menulist is blank. not sure if this is expected
--if not, a bug should be filed...
