A pop up repeatedly appeared when I click on URL from an external application (google desktop). Moz requested user name. Correct (and only) username appeared, but was not selected. When selected, dialog reported that Mozilla user was already active, but would not go to requested URL. Later when I tried to change the name (or add a username??) a popup appeared asking if I wanted to save mail and settings from deleted user. I resp. OK, but I can't find any mail or settings from any user. Set up new user and, of course, settings were naked.
Reproducible: Didn't try
Actual Results:
I just clicked on new URL in G Desktop after having rebooted. Window opend in this window. No dialogs appeared.
Expected Results:
SHOULD NEVER HAVE DELETED SETTINGS AND MAIL. I had a number of filters, junk mail trained, etc. and a huge number of messages in personal folders. ALL GONE

Try running Mozilla with mozilla.exe -profilemanager and select your old profile there (there should be two profiles now). Normally this happens when a mozilla.exe is still running in background, but not responsive. Another case could be a left over lock-file (it's called parent.lock, you can savely delete it when you are sure that there is no mozilla.exe still running in the background).

MozillaAS v1.7.x is not supported anymore.
