User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Build Identifier: Mozilla 1.7.12 Every once in while all of my email disappears from all of my boxes ie. inbox, trash, spam, etc.. When I go into the Mail, I have to set up the same email account again. It seems as though the email may be still on the computer, but I cannot get to it. I think it is in the directory: Windows/application data/mozilla/profiles/home/tkuxhq65.slt/mail/pop.access4less-3.net Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce
please upgrade. Mozilla 1.7.x is based on outdated code and is no longer receiving bug fixes. http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/

I have a similar problem that appears to happen when the following events are true. 1. Auto Compact is turned on 2. If an attempt is made to move an item to another folder (doesn't matter if it has been viewed or not) just before Compact starts, the item may appear to move, but disappears and is not retrievable. I have had this happen at least 5 times with SeaMonkey 1.1.4 and now with 1.1.5 It looks like the Compact program corrupts the index while the item is being moved, or overwrites the index after it has been moved.
