I cannot use Firefox at all since I upgraded to 1.5. The mac color wheel freezes the screen in any online window after the second letter is typed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.select any search page or email page
2.type two letters
3.watch computer freeze
Actual Results:  
computer froze

Expected Results:  
should search or send

I have to abandon firefox completely and go to Safari. Firefox is superior-- when it works.

Have you tried Firefox 1.5.0.1, or just 1.5? 1.5.0.1 included a fix for this issue on older versions of OS X (10.2), and 1.5.0.2 (to be released some time today, on mozilla.com) includes another fix that should fix the problem for you. Could you try 1.5.0.1 and 1.5.0.2 and report back?
