My Netscape 7.2 mail program's address book, when creating a message, displayed the names in the book and the ability to click on To:, cc:, and Bcc: for each name selected as a recipient. My Thunderbird address book displays the names as well, but only has the To: and cc: options to click on when a name is chosen from the book. Does Thunderbird have the ability to make a change to add the bcc: option?

Yes duplicate of bug 226468. Reporter, please note that Thunderbird can add to Bcc if you right-click on the contact and use the menu. The fact there is no add to bcc button is a duplicate of bug 226468.
