Thunderbird takes a long time to load when initiated.
I have 2 colleagues who have developed the same problem with the addition that their incoming email has been deleted.
Thunderbird takes about 5 mins to load, it works ok after that, but can only download email once only from my ISP.
I have removed and reinstalled the latest version of thunderbird, the problem is still present!!
I have resorted to using Outlook Express at the moment until bug is resolved.
Thanks

Without more info it's extremely hard to know what's causing the problem.
Have you tried compacting the inbox (right click - compact)? Any anti-virus/firewall that's somehow interferring? Also check Tools->JavaScript Console to see if there are any error messages there.
