334116 - New folder is placed differently when creating it from Places Organizer or from Bookmarks Toolbar

When creating a new folder in Places, it is created as a sibling to the currently selected folder (see Bug 330540). According to Bug 330540 comment #3, this is by design.
However, when creating a new folder by right-clicking a folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar or in the Bookmarks Menu, it is created as its child. Shouldn't it be consistent with the behavior in Places?

I see usability problems if this gets fixed simply, but I'll confirm it, so something (or better) can be done.

actually (3.1b3pre) it's created as a before sibling in both cases, so i'm resolving as WFM

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body   contains   places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
