If you edit this page in composer source mode, then an extra <br> is inserted after this table.

If you edit this page in composer normal mode it is OK, but I don't want to have to correct the page in normal mode every time I edit it in source mode.

Bug exists in Mozilla 1.7.12 and Seamonkey 1.0.1

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Edit page in composer source mode
2. Save page
3. Browse page
4. Note extra <br> after table before </body>.

This is definitely a duplicate. Either bug 205946 or bug 240933 or another one related to <br> generation.

Note when editing http://www.freetocharities.org.uk/test.html with composer source mode that the visible effect of this bug is to double they size of the background visble beneath the table and destroy the vertical symmetry of the page when browsing.

Bug 240933 is about the plaintext editor.  This bug is about the HTML editor.

That said, this is probably a duplicate.  But not of bug 240933.  It _might_ be bug 205946 -- marking dep until that's fixed.  Then this should be retested.  Please attach a testcase to this bug using https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=334258&action=enter to make sure it can be retested even if the site in the URL field goes away...

SeaMonkey v1.0.x is not supported anymore.

Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9 ?
