After the rev. 1.5.0.2 of Thunderbird (21/04/04), was installed, the contact to the pop and smtp server stopped

After the automatically install of Thunderbird version 1.5.0.2 was finish. The program stop to conect the pop and smtp's server. Because it couldn't open the window,  to ask me may password. The receive and send the mesages didn't happen.
To solve this problem, I reinstalled the version 1.5 of the Tunderbird, and it returned to your normal operation. In conclusion the review 1.5.0.2 of Thunderbird program have a BUG. I like very much the program, but this problem forbid the upgrade.  
Após a instalação automática da versão 1.5.0.2 do Tunderbird. O programa parou de contactar os servidores smtp e pop do meu provedor. Ele não conseguia abrir a janela para solicitação da minha senha. O recebimento e o envio de e.mails não ocorreu. Para resolver este problema reinstalei a versão inicial do Thunderbird  a 1.5 e o programa voltou a funcionar normalmente. Concluindo a rev. 1.5.0.2, possui um BUG. Eu gosto muito do Thunderbird, mas este problema proibe a atualização.

I reinstall the original version 1.5 of Thunderbird software

Expected Results:  
The thunderbird returned to your normal operation
Firewall software on your computer is blocking Thunderbird from accessing the internet. Please see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Error_loading_any_website for help configuring that software to allow Thunderbird to access the internet.

Thanks Rayan Flint. I followed your instructions, then I had a BUG in Norton Internet Security, that forced me to reinstall. But now I made the upgrade to the Tunderbird 1.5.0.2, and the program is operate normal.
