User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.2) Gecko/20060308 Firefox/1.5.0.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.2) Gecko/20060308 Firefox/1.5.0.2 I cannot seem to copy text or images from webpages to other programs or to 'Search Fields' either using the right click menu or the menu bar. I tried reinstalling but nothing occured. Its not a problem with the computer because the roblem does not occur with IE or regular cut and paste operations on the computer. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to any webpage 2.Hi-lite any text whether its a link or not. 3.Point to the text and press right click and select 'Copy'. Then go to any text editor or a search engine page to paste the copied data. Actual Results: Nothing Happened. The copied text did not paste into the 'Search' field or the text editors. Expected Results: Text Should have been pasted. Copy and Paste does not work either using right-click or the Menu.
I also Am experiencing this problem. ever since the newest update
Same problem here, with 1.5.0.2 and 1.5.0.3
Ya ive just now gotten this problem. Copy and paste works everywhere else but firefox. I am runnin the 1.5.0.4 version. I just noticed it recently.
I've only seen this happen for pages that make use of AJAX. Our own web sites which use the AJAX provided by Microsoft's ASP.NET 2.0, demonstrate this bug, but none of those are outward-facing. To see a web page that consistently reproduces this bug, go to http://ajax.asp.net/docs/Samples/UpdatePanelTutorialIntro1/cs/Default.aspx. Before clicking the button, you can highlight text and copy it. After clicking the button, part of the page will be replaced, and the "Copy" menu item is disabled when highlighting text. The only workaround I've found is to switch browser tabs.
comment 4 WFM Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008020404 Minefield/3.0b3pre comment 0 thru comment 3 lack examples/references to reproduce, but I'm having no problems with C&P, so closing WFM.
