When I try to download extensions, I get the install window and push install, but nothing happened after. I cant find it in the Installed Extension page. I tried to manually download it by downloading it on to my desktop and drag and drop over to the Extension page, but it does the same thing (prompts me with the install window and then nothing). Shut firefox down and restarted my computer, nothing. Any ideas???
Reproducible: Always

Does the Extension Manager window open after you click install (e.g. the install from web page scenario)?
yes, the window with list of my current extentions appears, but nothing that shows that the extension I am trying to install is installing.

This is usually caused by an unhandled exception in the extension manager most of which have been fixed in the latest nightly builds (e.g. Firefox 2.0a1). Can you zip up your profile's extensions directory along with the extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, and extensions.ini files that are located inside your profile's directory and email them to me? Chances are the file would be too big to attach to this bug. If you have trouble emailing them let me know and I can provide another way to get them to me. Thanks.

I was unable to reproduce this with 1.5.0.2, 1.5.0.4, or with the latest branch that will become Firefox 2.0. I noticed that you had All In One Sidebar installed and I recall that causing this same condition at times.
