Mac only. build 2000-03-24-05-M15-n1b1. also see bug 33532.
ways to reproduce:
A) continue from 33532. Trigger xpis, then use BiggerRegToy (BRT). Package nodes 
aren't appearing. Try quit/relaunch of Mozilla. They don't appear. Then trigger 
other xpis at this point. same.
B) Remove "Mozilla Versions" and old Mozilla builds. Install Mozilla. Exit and 
Reboot. Launch Mozilla. (optional: use BRT to check that "Mozilla" app node is 
created). Trigger xpi and check with BRT. Package node doesn't register under 
"Mozilla" (note: "Mozilla #2" isn't created).
C) quit Mozilla (& 4.7). Remove "Mozilla Versions". Launch Mozilla and trigger 
xpi. Use BRT. This time, package node is created. Now, trigger another xpi. This 
time package node ain't there! Not a refresh issue since it still doesn't appear  
after quit/relaunch of 4.7 (or quitting Mozilla).
