tag <img...alt="...> works with IE but does not work with last version. We have to write title="... instead. But "title" is not correct in language XHTML Strict. And about accessibility. Thanks.

By "does not work", you mean "does not show a tooltip"?

Title attribute for the image tag DOES validate in xhtml strict.
