User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060427 Minefield/3.0a1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060427 Minefield/3.0a1 Cannot open the browser.xul or any other Firefox-associated xul files to inspect chrome. Can only see content. This seems to be a file-finding bug, since InspectorWidget can see and open the xul files. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open DOM Inspector 2. Select Inspect Document 3. Actual Results: Only item in selector window is the page contents. If a functional window is open (e.g.- extensions.xul, the Addons window), it also does not see that. Expected Results: Should be able to inspect chrome and function windows. InspectorWidget extension sees and can open extensions.xul. It also can be used to open the chrome for browser.xul, so the DOM inspector can still see the chrome.

View menu, select "Chrome" so it's checked, wfm. (Well, not literally, since it's broken on Mac, but wfy.)

OK. An unexpected feature. Checking the "chrome" line on the View menu does the job. And now the file select menu is interesting. WFM, too, on Win XP.
