If I type in "tihs is a spele cheker tset" and right click on words to correct them, the carat leaves the position it was in before right clicking and jumps to another spot. In the above example, with the carat starting at the end prior to each correction, it jumps to the beginning of the line (before "If") instead of staying put.

For me the caret moves to the end of the corrected word after correcting each word. I think this is by design.
Yeah, this is consistent with how other programs behave.
