Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060428 BonEcho/2.0a1 With Places disabled it is no longer possible to select a bookmark as a home page. The dialog fails with XML parser error. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Options/Preferences. 2. Select the "General" pane and click on the "Use Bookmark..." button.
I'll set it as blocking bug 331755 (although this is not quite true).

I'm pretty sure this is a dupe, and I reviewed the fix before a2. Clearing nomination for now. Ria, can you try to reproduce in a current build?

Works for me in today's 1.8 branch nightly on Windows.
Yes, this was fixed some days/weeks ago. I remember passing it by but forgot to close this one.
