User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.2) Gecko/20060405 SeaMonkey/1.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.2) Gecko/20060405 SeaMonkey/1.0.1 In Netscape 7.2, I'm used to being able to go through the inbox, marking uncaught spam by rapidly clicking the email's spam column, and sending them to the trash. But SeaMonkey 1.01 (Mac) requires a noticeable delay in doing this: if I click one email in the spam column, sending it to the trash, and then try to immediately click the next one as spam, the second click isn't recognized -- nothing happens. But if I pause 1-2 seconds after clicking one email, I CAN mark the next one by clicking its "junk" column. Oddly, if I spam-click an email which is NOT the next one in order in the list, there's no problem -- it's only a problem when clicking two CONSECUTIVE messages as spam! If I mark spam by using the "j" key, there's no problem -- it's only when mouse-clicking (btw, I'm using a Logitech wireless optical mouse, if that matters). Also oddly, if I UN-mark mail as spam by clicking the spam icon, there's NO delay -- I can UN-mark mail as spam very rapidly, but MARKING consecutive messages as spam requires the 1-2 second delay between clicks. If I keep clicking an email as spam with less than a 1-2 second pause between clicks, the email stays unmarked until I pause more than 1-2 seconds: THEN the spam is marked as such when I click on it. It's not a horrible problem, and I just noticed that Thunderbird 1.5.0.2 does the same thing -- but Netscape 7.2 doesn't! And why are should only CONSECUTIVE messages be affected?? Thanks for your work & time ... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set the "Junk Mail Controls" option "When I manually mark messages as junk" to "Delete them". 2. With email in the inbox, start at the top and click each message's "junk" column; you have to pause 1-2 seconds after one email is sent to trash in order to click the next one.
SeaMonkey v1.0.x is not supported anymore. Thunderbird v1.5.x is not supported anymore. NS7.2 is not our product (and is maybe even older). Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9 ? (or Thunderbird v2.0.0.12 ?)
