RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 298960

People

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.3) Gecko/20060503 Firefox/1.5.0.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.3) Gecko/20060503 Firefox/1.5.0.3

Basically, this is a reopen of: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=298960

-remote continues to choke on links with multiple commas, such as: http://www.spiegel.de/auto/fahrberichte/0,1518,414380,00.html

Spiegel, one of the most popular pages in Germany, is unfortunately not the only user of that particular CMS (with its characteristic URL format), either: http://www.vignette.com/

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Firefox
2. Try to instruct the running instance to open http://www.spiegel.de/auto/fahrberichte/0,1518,414380,00.html via -remote

Actual Results:
"http://www.spiegel.de/auto/fahrberichte/0,1518,414380" is opened.

Expected Results:
"http://www.spiegel.de/auto/fahrberichte/0,1518,414380,00.html" should be opened.
Please re-open that bug then.

Unfortunately your bugtracker only allows me to "Leave as RESOLVED FIXED" for #298960, so I opened a new bug.
I'll re-open it then. :)
