jazjar, new q1 device ( http://www.samsung.com/uk/products/mobilecomputing/ultramobile/np_q1_v000suk.asp ), n770 with higher resolution screens need the ability to show larger icons and text as default.

Doug,
Do you know how is the approach where you map the classic/default skin? I think we should simply enable this solution via some skin switch solution for now ( use new path and restart right? ). It should be simple for me to rework on a few main buttons.

Enabling some skin switch approach will also help us to support L10N - there is always region specific things in the CSS ( text size, and possibly orientation of items ).
