User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 I have my Windows Machine set to 'High process' priority for active window. I don't think enough people are reporting this because they usually have their windows non-optimized. I think somewhere in firefox's optimizing routines is causing it to go something like 'Real-time' causing it to spin at 96% cpu processing usage. This has *always been a problem. If someone can do look at this, with their xp machine set 'High priority' -- unfortunately i forget the hkey for this, but if needed can supply the regkey.. I always have my machine's apps running all on high-pririoty-- no other app causes this problem, so I suspect it's somewhere in the optimizing engine causing this misbehavior. Thanks for looking into it.. I can't be sure exactly when it does occur but it is happening more often after 1.5. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set regkey for apps to run 'High' on active. Actual Results: Perhaps most likely to occur with flash video, or flash animations and having a few tabs opened..
Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!

Resolution: --- → INCOMPLETE
Configuring Firefox to run in High-mode or even Realtime-mode, the processor usage averages around 20-40% while browsing with multiple tabs and watching flash videos at the same time. I am verifying this as INCOMPLETE as I cannot reproduce this bug and there isnt sufficient info to resolve it.
