337109 - Cannot undo once "Ignore thread" filter was mistakenly chosen

Using Mail/News reader, I wanted to "killfile" someone's post, by putting into 
a Message filters that "Makes message as Read", with the condition of having
Sender's mail address mutches.

I put the condition into one of preexisting filter, which was happened to have
"Ignore thread" option set, too. This filter in effect, the entire thread disappeard. This was not bug, expected behavour, just I made user mistake.

Then, I removed this condition from this filter, and put to another filter, 
which only "Make messages as Read" option was set. I was expecting that the 
disappeared thread would reappear, or at least the messages on that thread
from other senders, at least after the filters are reset, should appear, 
but they are all "ignored". Restarting Mozzila, nor resetting the PC doesn't help.

I don't find any way to restore the thread, I can't read the thread using Mozilla news reader on this PC.






Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. "Tools/Message filters" -> set a filter on some sender in a thread,
   set "Ignore thread" option checked.
2. Reopen the group. The thread having this sender disappears.
3. Again open the filter and remove the condition.
4. The thread does not reappear.
5. Send/Receive a message on that thread from other sender than the filtered.
   The message doesn't appear on the groups folder. 

Actual Results:  
I can't read entire thread. Even after "Ignore thread" option was unchecked.

Expected Results:  
After "ignore thread" option was unchecked, or the condition of filter removed,
either the thread should appear, or at least the messages sent after the filter
has removed should be readable.

What is View->Threads set to? BTW: Mozilla 1.8b is very old, consider upgrading to SeaMonkey 1.0.1.

View -> Thread is set as "All". But thanks, I found "Ignored thread" there
in the View menu, and with this selection I can view the thread.
So I set status of bug report as INVALID.

Thank you for recomendation for new version. I'll do when I'll have some time.
