1. Visit Google Trends. Enter phrases, and proceed to the results page.
2. (From top of the page) Attempt to press down arrow on keyboard. If the cursor is in the text box, tab out.
Result - page goes down a certain way but fails to go any further, seeming stuck, repeatedly bouncing up and down whilst the down key is held.
Should just scroll down.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.3) Gecko/20060426 Firefox/1.5.0.3
I tested http://www.google.com/trends?q=george+bush%2C+john+kerry&ctab=0&date=all&geo=all
With Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3
and "DOM Inspector" v1.8.1.3 addon enabled and I can reproduce this.
I found when cursor is moved from the text box (eg press TAB key) page up/page down work again on that page.
other examples:
Case#2
http://www.abc.net.au/default_800.htm (page down moves different amounts depending where curso focus is at the time)
Case#3
http://www.whitepages.com.au/wp/resSearch.jhtml
page down until end of page then page up will not take you to top of page.
This may be the same problem?
When "DOM Inspector" v1.8.1.3 addon is is disabled I see no problems.
Tom G if you have the "DOM Inspector" addon - can you test Case#2 and #3
what result do you get ?
(In reply to comment #1)
Re-tested without "DOM Inspector" v1.8.1.3 and still get incorrect page up and page down with all 3 cases mentioned in Bug 337504. I am finding more pages that have this problem.
Correction: Tom G with all addons disabled after restart can you test case #2 and #3?
