After I type in an emial, and try to send it, I get an error "can't find stmp". So I keep it in draft, then log of from Earthlink, then log back on to them and go to Thnderbid, got to draft and and bring up my email out of draft and send it, and it works. Earthlink will not help me with this problem, they will not work with Thunderbird, so they say.
Reproducible: Sometimes
I have to say that based on your description, you have a problem with your internet connection or your computer in general. I've spent the past 2 years supporting dialup customers and very rarely is what you are describing an email client problem.
