This is WFM, the url appears once the page is loaded. Though it does not appers before showing the content. That is bug 254714.
About your issue, please retest in safe mode

The URL doesn't appear once the page is loaded. And I can't try the safe mode of Firefox because Firefox is launched by the click in another application, not by the link in the Start Menu.

Please start in safe mode, since this is most probably an extension causing this. Simply start firefox in safe mode, then click on a link in thunderbird or whatever external app with a link. You should now see if it works or not, if it works, then it means that an extension is causing this issue.

If I start Firefox before clicking on the link, in safe mode or not, the problem doesn't appear.
To test it, I will install Firefox in a virtual machine and I will test it whitout nothing loaded.

Pierre, there is no need for a new installation, simply start Firefox in safe mode. That will start Firefox with no extensions or themes loaded.

Is ther a way to always start Firefox in safe mode, even if it is launched by click on a link in a mail?
I have tried to install it in a virtual machine and ré-install all my extensions and there is no problem. Perhaps there is a problem in an extension configuration.
