I used to be able to search via google, etc through the search bar. how do i restore it? i tried adding search engines from the mozilla site but it will not post! help! Reproducible: Didn't try
Could you please follow the instructions at http://kb.mozillazine.org/Search_engines_disappear_from_Search_Bar and comment on this bug if that fixes the problem for you?
the firefox safe mode window did not pop up when i logged on via safe mode..any other suggestions?
Did you run in Firefox safe mode, or Windows safe mode? The two are not the same thing. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode .
worked via help that was provided! thanks so much! opened up firefox in firefox safe mode and reset the toolbar! thanks so much for your help!
