Installed Lightning 0.1 on my TB and it places an inch thick (on my screen, probably differs depending on size and resolution of screen, but can't test that) border or pane between (under) TB's status bar and the Windows taskbar. Can't find any settings in Lightning or TB to correct this.
When I uninstall Lightning it goes, reinstall, it comes back.

Do you have the old Calendar extension installed too? If yes uninstall it.
