How this happens: 1. Surf the URL mentioned above. 2. Watch it load a little. 3. The rotating thingie indicating that a page loads stops completely. 4. BUT browser stays responsive: * it is perfectly possible to open new tabs, to type URLs, even to select URLs from the history, to change between tabs, to use the "forward" and "back" buttons. You can also open new windows, where everything works fine. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: Page should be displayed properly.
Created attachment 222909 [details] image of frozen browser, with bookmark bar blackened out This is an image of the bug. What you see is another window title, belonging to another URL ("http://www1.folha.uol.com.br/folha/especial/2006/saopaulosobataque/"). This is a tab I managed to open blindly, by typing Apple-T, and then selecting the URL from the URL history. The rest of the browser stays responsive, only changes are not displayed anymore.
one more thing. if you change to a tab you don't see, and move the mouse over the blank page, you'll even see the mouse cursor change for links that are under it.
Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!
