When there's no browsing history (e.g. in a new profile or just after clearing the browsing history), clicking the arrow button in the URL / Location Bar has no effect.
Must the arrow button be displayed in this case?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. clear browsing history
2. up at the location / URL bar, click the arrow
3.
Actual Results:
nothing happens
Expected Results:
the button shouldn't be there in the first place

I think having the button there is the way it is intended to work. Removing the button or even graying it out would be rather trivial. I do not think it is something that the average user is going to really care about.
Someone want to throw their input behind this?

This seems to work now; by default Fx3 shows a bunch of help/about type URLs when clicking the dropmarker on a new profile.
