The Seamonkey project page should have a section pointing to future release plans (end user quality, the traditional tree documentation is focussed on experts) including:

Plans for releases in different branches (version numbers)
New major features

One way could be to link relevant developers' blog articles and similar documentation.

Another way could be to link to the Wiki and have a page there with those features.
