339746 - password preferences window disappeared when setting encryption preference, SeaMonkey hanged

Just recently installed Sea Monkey 1.0.1, upgraded from Mozilla 1.7ish.
Under Edit -> preferences -> privacy & security -> passwords -> encrypting versus obscuring, 
I had placed a tickbox next to:
Use encryption when storing sensitive data
so then I was prompted to give my password for changing the setting - 
once I entered the password, the preferences window went *poof and disappeared. 
I had to re-open the preferences window and find my place where I was at to continue personalizing my new browser. 
The window should not have closed and disappeared once I made my setting change. 
I was unaware if it successfully took the new setting, but in fact, it was ticked the next time I checked, once I opened the preferences window back up. 



Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
It's under 
Edit -> 
preferences -> 
privacy & security -> 
passwords -> 
encrypting versus obscuring


Expected Results:  
Browser should have confirmed that my preference was changed, 
or just show me the new tick I had intended to leave in the tickbox, 
but not just have the window disappear.

No, sorry.
All that happened was the window disappeared. 
Sea Monkey stayed open in the background.

No (more) reply from reporter.

SeaMonkey v1.0.x is not supported anymore.

(Would have been "Incomplete", now is) R.Invalid
