User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8.0.2) Gecko/20060404 SeaMonkey/1.0.1 Mnenhy/0.7.4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8.0.2) Gecko/20060404 SeaMonkey/1.0.1 Mnenhy/0.7.4.0 I would like an option to make the default button in the 'Unresponsive Script' dialog to be the 'Continue' button instead of the 'Stop Script' button, in preparation for the day when Bug #76053 (Windows mouse integration: no "Snap to default button in dialog boxes") is resolved. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Well, in my case, with mnenhy installed, go "Tools/Chrome Manager ..." 2. The "Unresponsive Script" dialog will appear at least three times. Actual Results: The "Stop Script" button is the Default Button. Expected Results: The "Continue" button should be the Default Button.

This is not just windows 98, it counts for all other OS's too. I can confirm MAC 0S X 10.3.9.
Moving to SeaMonkey::Preferences. If someone on Firefox or Thunderbird wants the same, please open a distinct bug.

Phil moved this to DOM for a reason - the slow script dialog is implemented in core code. If you want to change the default in SeaMonkey only, you'll have to make changes to the DOM code to make that configurable, at the very least.

Well, comment #0 wanted it "as an option". But I suppose you're right to keep it in Core::DOM if that's where the first patches necessary to make this work will have to land (if ever). An alternative would be WONTFIX.
This happens when opening the Print Dialog Box. It seems to happen every time.
This happens when opening the Print Dialog Box. It seems to happen every time. The problem is that I am unable to close to script dialog as the Print dialog is modal. And the print dialog does not do anything (even when clicking on the print or cancel button)
Olivier, please file a new bug with a testcase or steps-to-reproduce. And tell also which version of Firefox you're using. Could you also CC me to the bug.
I'm looking for this new option as well. This would be the good answer to https://superuser.com/questions/357990/how-to-make-firefox-always-stop-a-script-when-its-not-responding

This would be the good answer. https://mykohlscharge.online/
