User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.3) Gecko/20060426 Firefox/1.5.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.3) Gecko/20060426 Firefox/1.5.0.3 I am using Firefox V 1.5.0.3 on a PC with 256MB running Windows XP SP2. I have tried uninstalling Firefox both through the control panel (add/remove programs) and by attempting to execute uninstall.exe in the <home>/Mozilla_Firefox/uninstall directory. In both cases the program seems to hang and the only way to terminate it is by invoking the task manager and killing the process. I want to remove Firefox from my system. If the uninstall program won't work, then I'd like to have a step-by-step process I can use to do it manually (including any changes to my registry). Thanks. Reproducible: Always
This is not a place to ask for technical support. For help with your problem visit http://forums.mozillazine.org/index.php?c=10. As for the bug report, most of the time uninstaller works ok, so unless you can provide detailed steps to reproduce, this report is pretty much useless.
